"365 Days in T-Shirts" (working title)
For the past two years, I have been working on a large format coffee table book (half words/half pictures) on the art, history, manufacture and social impact of t-shirts in North America. And naturally, there's a
whole bunch more to it than that. It's definitely not going to be the book on t-shirts you're expecting; that I can almost guarantee. But whatever it was that you thought you were looking for, you'll find it within the pages of this book.
And once you do, you'll realize you're already waist-deep in the fabric of a world that you didn't even know was there - and the view is certainly a sight that you will never, ever forget.
While, for the most part, the project is still relatively hush-hush, I can tell you that it is by far the most
labour-intensive project I have ever worked on and will no doubt be one of the crowning achievements of my young life. It's going to be a whole lot of fun people, so stayed tuned.
Currently, I am in the process of polishing up a partial layout and manuscript to send out to publishers. Hopefully, the book will be picked up quickly and the first of its three volumes will be on shelves sometime in the next year or so. Until then, let's all just keep those fingers crossed.

Summer 2010
Danny & the Holy Mountain (Backwater Americana)
The musical stylings of Danny & the Holy Mountain have changed a lot in the past three years - and it's high time
there was finally an album to match those Mountainous new heights. Drawing from the latest works in Danny's twenty-strong catalogue of original tunage, this upcoming album will offer
a peek into the rockier side of the Mountain with hits like: "These Ole' Arms of Mine", "Lord, We Need a Common Ground" and "O'Me O'My" - as well as the trip-down trilogy of
"If You Got Soul", "A Little Light O'er Me" and "Honey-O". And this time... Danny & the Holy Mountain won't be alone. I'm currently tracking down saxophonists, pianists, broom brushers and a whole cast of clappers and crooners
to make sure this is one rumble 'round the Mountain that's fit to print. Keep on looking for that Mountain!

"Stooge" (working title)
In order to focus my efforts on other ventures, this project was (more or less) put on hiatus three years ago.
While the final draft was near completion - at that time, I felt I was too personally involved with the subject matter
and needed to take a serious step back, less the work itself suffer. Every so often, I've touched back on it - every time with new ideas.
Hopefully, once my other written
work has been sent off to publishers, I will have the time I need to go back full-force and give it a good finish so it can make its way onto the market.
In brief, "Stooge" is a story about an everyday man in control, a business owner who sought hard to incarnate Ian Fleming's fictional character, James Bond.
And truly, he did... until the day he's brought face to face with a real-life equivalent of the man himself, the man with the license the kill. Who is this stranger he now faces?
And who could he possibly be working for? Definitely not for the faint of heart, "Stooge" will be the thrill... that kills.

2010 (tentative release)
Decline: the album
Six years ago, Thunder Bay punk rock heroes, Decline, began their last hurrah: a monster album seven years in the making. And for Will Rutledge, Jesse and George Gratz, and myself -
it very near happened. Now, half a decade later... it's looking like those final few tracks might finally hit the edges of those long-lost tapes.
The tapes have been found, my friends, and discussions are underway to get Decline: the album finally off the cutting room floor and into you living rooms.
When I know more, you'll know more. Until then, keep your knees together and your feet out - and get ready to dance to those terrific tunes of yesteryear, lost but not forgotten.
